Hi! I had my surgery for gynecomestia in the year 1996. I am 43 Years now. and its more than 23 years passed now after the surgery. I have noticeable dents on both the sides (its deeper on my right side). It emerges more when I raise my arm above the shoulders. The nipples move backward inside my chest and the dimples become highly noticeable. Please suggest if a corrective measure/surgery is possible now after these many years. Please guide.
Answer: Gynecomastia Dents Thank you for your question and for your photos. Based on your photos provide, it is difficult to tell for sure. I would advise you to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss various treatment options. However, you can get improvement on the dents with fat grafting. I hope this information helps.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Revision Gynecomastia Surgery I am so sorry you are experiencing this problem. The good news is that correction is certainly surgically possible using the "no-scar armpit (axillary) technique." Unfortunately, judging from the scar around your areola, your procedure was performed open through a peri-areolar incision which often leads to pits and divots. In my practice, I commonly employ the use of very fine cannulas for two purposes: one is to suction residual fat and breast tissue that makes the breast too protrusive, and the other is to transfer fat (usually from the abdomen and flanks) to fill in the pits and divots. By employing this twofold approach, I can create a much smoother chest profile. Thank you for your inquiry, and I hope this answer assists you in obtaining the help you need even 23 years postoperatively.

Answer: Gynecomastia surgery results Dear Enthusiastic4091, It is hard to tell for sure without an examination but based on your photos, it looks like you might get improvement with fat transfer in order to correct the dents. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
