Can I reverse what was done and get my long, thinner nose back. The doctor performed septo with rhino but no osteomy was done because i did not want cuts on my face. Is there another way of bringing the bones together without surgery I have developed open roof derformity

Answer: Open roof deformity Paced in the photograph it does not appear to be a true open roof deformity but just flattening. This usually happens when an dorsal hump has been removed without lateral osteotomies that would bring together the bones and given narrow dorsum. It can be improved without surgery by placing either as small implant or using fillers.RegardsDr. J

Answer: My nose! It's difficult for me to see with 100% certainty but it does look like you have an open roof. The most tried and true way to improve this is with osteotomies. They can be performed internally without the evidence of external scarring. The bones are then positioned closer together at the top. Non surgical options won't give long lasting nor reliable results. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon, hopefully the one you already have experience with and ask if s/he is willing to perform osteotomies to improve the result. Good luck to you!
