My one nostril closes when I inhale, but the other one doesn't. Is this normal?

I haven't had anything done to my nose. Is it just the muscles of the nostrils that might differ a bit on each side, or should I be concerned? The nostril not contracting seems a little bigger than the other as well. I have a little snub nose. I'm considering getting rhinoplasty done in a few years time... Thank you for your time! :)

While it is hard to say for sure without an exam, it appears that the bottom of your nasal septum is deviated to the left a bit. That creates the fullness on the left side which can often be improved with a well performed rhinoplasty. Same goes for the differences on your three quarter views....

Sometimes cartilage grafts can protrude into the nasal vestibule and cause a bump.  It may also be a small abscess but this is usually tender and red.    Can your prior surgeon examine you?

I would suggest you complete the maxillofacisl surgery first, then determine whether something like a rhinoplasty would be worthwhile.
