ive been very self-conscious about my chubby cheeks for a long time, and now that im older, they are starting to sag. Its mainly the lower front area which i hate. Im 29 years old, 5'4 and weigh 8 stone 10 lb so not really overweight. I went to a plastic surgeon and he basically dissmissed me and said id be thankful when im older. Not the answer i was really looking for. Ideally i want to avoid surgery, so maybe coolsculpting? Any advice on proceedures would be most appreciated. Thanks

Hello,  Thank you for your question and picture. Unfortunately Coolsculpting does not work on the cheeks. However you may consider some fillers in the lateral face/scalp. This can help lift the face, which would address the "heavy"  or "saggy"  feeling that you are concerned about. Good luck!

Coolsculpting is a non invasive fat reduction treatment ideal for treating small pockets of of stubborn fat in targeted areas. Unfortunately, coolsculpting is not approved for treating the cheek area and therefore cannot be performed. To address "chubby cheeks" a surgical procedure called Buccal Fat excision could be effective, however a consultation in person with a Plastic Surgeon, or a Facial Plastic Surgeon would best determine if you're a candidate.  Dermal filler can be a temporary solution to address sagging jowls.  Coolsculpting is not indicated for treatment on cheeks.  Beneath the chin would be the only treatment area from the neck up that coolsculpting could address if needed.Best of luck,Dr. Philip Solomon, Solomon Facial Plastic, Toronto, Canada

CoolSculpting is not approved for the cheeks or face.  You may want to look into dermal fillers to help "lift" or fill out the area.  It would be best to see another board certified plastic surgeon to determine what is right for you.

CoolSculpting has a number of FDA clearances for treating areas of the neck and body in addition to a few other areas that may be safely treated as an off-label indication. Unfortunately CoolSculpting is not appropriate for treating the cheek area. You may want to research Ultherapy. The deeper Ultherapy transducers can deliver the focused ultrasound technology into the fat layer and offer a reduction.

CoolSculpting is not approved to treat the cheeks. You might consider a dermal filler to fill the upper area of your cheeks, which will provide a subtle lift and add volume to the area above the lower fullness. Cheek implants could also be considered. I would not recommend a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person to best determine the right procedure to for you.

Coolsculpting is NOT recommended for use on the face. An interesting non-surgical option for you might be Botox Facial Slimming. Botulinum toxin, also known as Botox or Dysport (two brands of botulinum toxin commonly used in the US), is used to relax our jaw muscles. When our jaw muscles are relaxed and less tense, they will start to reduce in size and over time, result in a slimmer and sharper face and jawline. 
The mechanism of how Botox works is by relaxing specific muscles. By relaxing our jaw muscles, we will tend to not use it and work it as hard.
Take for example, if someone goes to the gym often to build up his/her muscles and then stops exercising for a while. His/her muscles will gradually undergo atrophy and become smaller without the regular exercise. Without constant activity, our muscles will tend to lose its bulk and size.
So by relaxing our jaw muscles with Botox, these muscles will lose its bulk and size over a short period of time, achieving a more V-shaped face.
It is important that you visit a certified and experienced doctor for the Botox injections as injections in the wrong muscles can lead to undesirable side effects.
For Botox facial slimming, you receive an injection into the masseter muscles (which is the main jaw muscles). It is also important to note that the injections are into the body of the masseter muscles. This is where the bulk of the muscles are and more importantly, injections too close or into the head of the masseters will cause a crooked smile or the inability to smile.

You have a lovely shaped face, but as you say, not really well defined.  I would enhance the angle of the cheek by tightening the skin and slightly decreasing the fat.
