Can I get breast implants and CoolSculpting at the same time?

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive treatment that is done on an outpatient basis. Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure that is done at a hospital or surgical facility and requires a sterile setting and the use of anesthesia. Therefore, they should not be done at the same time. However, it may be possible to have CoolSculpting shortly before or after you have breast augmentation. Talk to your plastic surgeon about the best timing.

They may be completed within a few days of one another, I advise doing the coolsculpting treatment up to one day before surgery depending on the area. Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure that would normally be performed in an operating room.  CoolSculpting is a non-surgical treatment done in an office.  Both procedures would usually not be done at the same time.  It is possible they could be done around the same time period, but most likely not on the same day.  

Breast augmentation (breast implants) are generally done in the operating room under general anesthesia while CoolSculpting is done at the office with the patient awake and takes an hour or 30 min depending on the type of machine used. I don't think there is a surgeon who would do CoolSculpting in the same setting with breast implants in the operating room given that there is increased risk from increased time of anesthesia and also increased cost. I would recommend that you discuss your options with your surgeon. It is probably reasonable to do CoolSculpting in the office few days before or even same day of your surgery given that it's in the remote location (not bra line or upper abdomen). Or you can have it done once you are partially recovered from your surgery (but again not in proximity of incision, not bra line or upper abdomen). If you are treating upper abdomen or bra line with CoolSculpting, you will probably be advised to space your surgery and treatment at least one month apart to give you best chance of healing. Hope this answers your question.

No. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive and drug-less procedure, while a Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure that will require you to use anesthesia and go under the knife. I would also space out each of these procedures a few weeks, as a means to recover from one.

Coolsculpting is a non-invasive procedure that is not sterile and requires no anesthesia. These procedures can not be performed at the same time, the Coolsculpting equipment would contaminate the sterile field during surgery. I would recommend having your Coolsculpting treatment done either before your breast augmentation or a few weeks after your breast augmentation. these two procedures can often be done at the same time or in immediate sequence depending on the body areas to be CoolSculpted.
Please get a consultation from a BOARD-CERTIFED PLASTIC SURGEON for an opinion and a treatment plan . 

Both of these treatments can be done close to each other.  One can't be done while you're getting the other procedure done, but they can be done within a few days of each other.  I would schedule your CoolSculpting first and then have the implants done a few days later.

Breast implants are a surgical procedure requiring anesthesia and sterility in an operating room or surgical suite.  CoolSculpting is an outpatient procedure done in a doctor's office requiring no anesthesia or sedation.  You could, however, do your CoolSculpting shortly after your surgery when you are comfortable and still have time off from work or social engagements.  Check with your surgeon to make sure it is okay with him or her.
