CoolSculpting: Would the roll of fat under my bra be classified as my upper abdomen?

I had coolsculpting 4 weeks ago nearly on my upper and lower stomach but I still haven't seen results? Also I want to get in on the roll of fat just under my bra line but would this be classed as upper stomach?

Hello, Thank you for your question. Results from Coolsculpting are generally seen 8 to 12 weeks after treatment. So you still have a bit of time before you will see full results.  Depending on the exact location of your next treatment, some doctors may consider it bra fat, what others may consider it the upper stomach. That can be determined during your in person consultation. Good luck!

It's a bit early to see your results. Results are generally seen 4 - 12 weeks after treatment with maximum results at 12 weeks. The area just below your bra is still considered your upper abdomen.Regards,

It can take up to 12 weeks to see the effect from a CoolSculpting treatment, so it is not unusual that you have seen no improvement after 4 weeks.  The roll of fat under the bra line is normally treated on the back.  I am not sure if this is the area of interest to you.  If the area is on your front, then this could be considered the upper abdomen or lower chest.

This fat may be considered "bra fat" or upper-abdomen fat depending on it's exact location. As for the results--even with exercise--it may take up to 8 weeks to see what some patients expect. It might be best to consult with your doctor on both accounts. Good luck!

It is absolutely normal and to be expected that at the 4 week mark you do not see much or any results from the CoolSculpting treatment. On average, patients will see the start of the results at 6 weeks. By 8 weeks patients typically see 50% of the results and by 12 to 16 weeks the full response is obtained. 
The upper abdomen bulge just under the breast can be treated with Coolsculpting as long as the geometry of the applicator and the bulge match. An examination by an experienced Coolsculpting provider can qualify if the area is appropriate for treatment.

It's still early to see results from CoolSculpting.  Give it another 4-8 weeks.  
The area beneath the bra (towards the feet) would be considered the upper abdomen.  In terms of CoolSculpting, the upper abdomen may require two overlapping treatments to treat the entire vertical area.

It's early to tell from your first treatment of CoolSculpting. It takes about 3-4 months for your optimal results. The fat in the front  of your body, under the bra line is considered the upper abdomen. If you are talking about the fat that hangs over sports bras in the back, then that's considered the upper flank. Have your CoolSculpting specialist evaluate and see if you are a candidate in those areas.

CoolSculpting usually requires at least 8 weeks to begin seeing results but this is still quite early.  Do not get discouraged.  The fat didn't appear yesterday so it does not have to disappear today. Even though it may take a few months, it is well worth the wait.  The roll of fat under your bra is back fat and is very treatable with CoolSculpting.  It may require more than one or two treatments as this area has denser fat than the abdomen, in general
