with many thanks to a gift certificate at my son's school, I found myself in the remarkable care of Dr. Parker and her medical assistant and aesthetician, Anne and my skin has NEVER been better. I still have hormonal breakouts well into my 40's and have been on medication and topicals for years and Anne tamed my skin (with 3 sessions of the cooltouch laser) and the breakouts are under control for the first time since I can remember (and the tone and texture are pretty great too). And Dr. Parker is extraordinary--she aims for the minimal side of filler/botox (no inflated or expressionless faces) and she even breaks out a set of calipers to confirm what her exceptionally well-trained eyes can see. Her injection technique is painless, BRUISELESS (and I am a spectacular bruiser), and I've had no post-filler swelling or corrections. I've been around the block and hope to save folks the trouble--stop here and stay here
I've been going to Lasair for about 10 months now. I receive laser hair removal on my bikini line. I am extremely pleased with the results. For a while, I was not seeing results, as laser hair removal can take months. I'm a woman of color so it's extra time consuming considering the pigmentation of my skin and hair thickness. Some women, especially women of color, have concerns with burning as this can happen with darker pigmentation. Ann is the primary technician who has done my treatments. She's really conscious of potential burning and was very attentive to making sure this didn't happen to me. She's constantly testing different treatment levels to make sure my skin can handle the treatment and I've never experienced any issues. Almost a year later I am seeing huge results and am so excited to rock a skimpy bikini this summer. If you receive laser hair removal just know it's important to be patient and keep with it. I highly recommend Alexis' practice for those seeking laser hair removal.
Dr Parker is an amazing Artist! She knows exactly what you need for whatever procedure you are going in for. I wasn't sure what exactly I needed to help with adding youth too my face. Dr went over details and the products that she thought would be the best for what I needed. Highly recommend Dr Parker and her staff
I met with several doctors about laser treatments, but was impressed not only by Dr. Parker's experience and professionalism, but because she seems to genuinely care about her patients. Since the initial consultation, I have been back several times. Dr. Parker and her staff are always amazing, pleasant and provide excellent service. They understand the art of subtlety and I am very happy with the results!
This physician is amazing. I have had both botox and Cool Touch treatments from her with very effective results. She knows her craft! I have seen her for over 20 years and trust her implicitly ! If you are in need of any anti aging treatments I would consider her.
I have had the most amazing experience with Dr. Parker. She is caring and so experienced and thorough with her consultation and procedures. It is an environment that I highly recommend. The results of the fraxeling on my scars has been phenomenal.
I love Lasair!!! Ive had treatments at Lasair for many years. The staff is very professional and friendly. Dr Parker is the best. I also love Nicki for laser treatments. Lasair has been in business since the late 90’s. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for treatments. The experience, professionalism, and competence is like no other.
I wanted to try to the juvederm under my eyes and around my cheekbones. Was pleased with the results right away! I strongly recommend it to anyone who is considering the procedure. I was nervous about going in. But when I look in the mirror it was well worth it! I was beginning to look a little exhausted. Now I look refreshed and well rested. thank you !
I always get my Botox injections at Lasair Aesthetics. I have done so for over 14 years. I have never had an issue with any service. This includes Laser, KTP, and Juviderm treatments. Very clean and pleasing office atmosphere. If a prep is needed they always let the patient know on the phone and allow the time in office to prepare before the treatment.
Dr. Parker is fabulous. I have been seeing her and her awesome staff for over 10 years and I will never go anywhere else. They always have new state of the art equipment and the office is lovely. It is easy to get to and there is good free parking.
Excellent question. Clear and Brilliant is a laser that offers improvement of fine lines, sun damage and discoloration while stimulating the production of collagen. It is also the only laser that has been scientifically shown to reduce pore size. The treatment modalities range from High to Low, which determines the density or percentage of the skin treated in tiny pixels, and also varies with the number of passes performed. The recommended number of passes is eight, four vertical and four horizontal. The number of passes will also affect the percentage of skin treated. Treatment speed also affects the number of pixels or percentage of fractional coverage. There is no variation of treatment depth. In general, product that is placed on the skin for absorption into the pixels should be put on the face immediately. I use the 2 minute rule, within two minutes of treatment of an area.In summary the answer to your question is YES, there are variations in treatment depending on the provider and the patients desires. It is best to discuss the result that you are looking for, as well as the downtime that you can tolerate. I usually start somewhat conservatively so that the patient can experience the procedure, and then increase or decrease the intensity of the treatment based on the patient's feedback at the second treatment session. A series of treatments is recommended because only 7 to 10% of the skin is removed with each treatment. Additional passes, beyond eight, would increase this percentage as well as the time for recovery. All the Best, Alexis Parker MD
An injectable filler like Juvederm or other hyaluronic acid filler would be a good option for correction of this defect, which though small, is probably all that you see when you look in the mirror. Be aware that following a rhinoplasty normal vascular patterns may change so be sure to see an experienced injector and your plastic surgeon is possibly a good choice. If the scar is not completely treated with filler, an energy device such as sublative radiofrequency o micro needling will further remodel the defect. All the best, Alexis Parker MD.
You are wise to be concerned abut the safety of your injections, but there is no device that will insure a safe treatment. As you know, there are complications secondary to fillers, including swelling, bruising, infection and yes, unfortunately, there have been cases of blindness secondary to the occlusion of an artery, not a vein. Although there is never a guarantee, it is best to see a doctor with great training and years of experience. You will have a greater chance of a safe and aesthetically pleasing result. Absolutely NOT. Even if you slather on sunscreen and wear a hat, your skin will be in the healing phase and you are at great risk for pigment changes which are often very difficult to correct, depending on your skin type. Wait approximately 2 weeks after your vacation while your tan fades and then consider a treatment under the direction of a physician to be sure that the timing is correct. All the best, Alexis Parker, MD
Laser treatments are often combined or "stacked" depending upon the condition of your skin, the desired downtime, and the speed at which improvement is desired. It is best to consult with a physician who can develop a treatment plan for you that will fit your lifestyle and budget. In general, it is best to recover from one treatment before the next is done. These are both relatively gentle lasers, so one month may be appropriate. Let your physician guide you. All the best, Alexis Parker MD
