Thanks for your question! I do think that you would benefit from CoolSculpting to that area, but I think you will want 2-3 treatments to get the best result possible. Maybe even considering something like SmartLipo wouldn't be a bad option for you. It is minimally invasive, but we could be more aggressive in that area. Dear Step369,Based on your photos CoolSculpting is a great non-surgical option for you. You have great skin without stretch marks or significant skin laxity so you are a good candidate. However, if your C-section scar is bothersome to you due to a groove or abnormal healing then this could be excised/revised at the time of abdominal liposculpture.Best of luck,Oscar A. Coolsculpting is good for removing stubborn areas of fat, but lacks body shaping. A combination approach is needed to get the most improvement with Coolsculpting. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. However, a Vaser with ThermiRF procedure is needed to give more contouring, fat removal along with body shaping for curves. Best, Dr. Emer

Hi step369.  Your physical examination is most important in determining whether you are a candidate for Coolsculpting and how many cycles are needed, which in turn determines cost. ( I am not familiar with Lapex/Zerona lasers).  You need to be examined to ensure that the "pooch" is not lax muscles that need repairing with a tuck-see a plastic surgeon. If you can pinch a significant amount of tissue that is able to be drawn into the applicators, typically 4 cycles (considered one session) is needed.  Look for providers that have had the advanced training of Coolsculpting University, have multiple machines (to shorten treatment time & a sign of an experienced & busy CS center), and have the advantage applicators (shortens treatment times, less painful, more sizes that might possibly reduce the number of cycles/cost).  There are discounts available for purchasing during open house type events, booking the entire package of cycles, and through the Brilliant Distinctions program you get coupons with each cycle purchased.  Be sure to have multiple consultations too-Good luck!

It seems that you are the ideal Coolsculpting patient, as you're close to or have achieved your body goals and just have a little pooch hanging over your head, or more literally, on your belly. The non-invasive procedure will freeze and exterminate the patches of fat cells on your lower abdomen. These cells will never return, but can be replaced, but this shouldn't be a problem if you're on a positive life-cycle of diet and exercise.
