I am 47 & have worked really hard with diet & exercise to stay in shape but I can't lose the lower belly pooch. Even in my younger days, I always had a little belly but after a c-section and with age it's worse. Would you recommend coolsculpting or zerona/lapex lasers? Or something else? Lasers are much cheaper but are they a total waste of money? Have you heard of lapex? If coolsculpting, how many treatments do you think I would need? Trying to minimize cost. Thank you!!

Answer: Coolsculpting and pooch Hello and Thank you for your photo and question,CoolSculpting is a great, FDA-approved treatment for fat reduction of the abdomen. Based on your question and photo, I think that you are an excellent candidate for Coolsculpting. Patients in our office have seen an average fat reduction of 20-25% with each treatment. Depending on the patient's body composition and outcome goals, it may take more than one treatment to achieve optimal results. It takes 3 months to see the final results. The results are long-lasting as long as you maintain a stable healthy lifestyle. I recommend you schedule a consultation with a certified plastic surgeon for information on coolsculpting. Tweet

Answer: Coolsculpting on lower abdomen Based on the photos alone, you appear to be a candidate for coolsculpting though an in person assessment is always best especially after your pregnancy. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon. Regards,
