Based off your photos (without examining you) - there are different techniques to do ab etching.
Different types:Type 1. very precise and clean liposuction that removes as much fat as your body allows to show the muscles after swelling subsidesType 2. using your fat to create the illusion of a 6 pack (by carving out anatomical rectus muscle definition) - problem with this method is you can not gain weight post-procedure - it will make the etch completely out of proportion and very abnormal looking. Type 3. removing a clean layer of fat above the muscles, then using the fat to graft into each of your rectus "6 pack" muscles to make them more pronounced.
All these types can have variations or even using combinations of the different types. My patients are always placed on a high protein diet, a good amount of weight lifting / exercises preop so that post-op they continue this lifestyle to see the best results. (Avoid weight gain after having liposuction at all cost).

The VASER procedure takes about two to three hours to complete. VASER HI DEF can be performed under IV sedation or general anesthesia. Most plastic surgeons prefer general anesthesia because more fat can be removed safely, Also, general anesthesia is less painful compared to IV sedation. Plan for a 10 day recovery.
