Dr. Jerimiah Mason completed his general surgery training in Birmingham, AL before relocating to Asheville, NC in 2013. Following years of dedicated practice as a general surgeon, he pursued further professional development by undertaking a cosmetic surgery fellowship at Southern Surgical Arts in Chattanooga, TN, achieving board certification in cosmetic surgery. Driven by a passion to assist others and guided by an artistic sensibility, Dr. Mason finds profound fulfillment in his specialty, where he can help patients enhance their self-confidence. Patients under his care can expect a warm, familial approach; Dr. Mason treats each individual as he would his own family members. He ensures thorough discussions with patients, aligning expectations and emphasizing realistic outcomes for every surgery or procedure.
From the very first phone call to schedule my consultation to my current post op appointments, my experience with Dr. Jerimiah Mason and his rockstar staff has been nothing short of a 10-star performance. Seriously—if there were a red carpet for surgical teams, they’d be strutting down it. Dr. Mason performed my breast lift, and let me just say… the girls are back and better than ever. Perky, proud, and defying gravity like they’ve had a pep talk from Beyoncé. I walked in unsure and walked out feeling confident, feminine, and like I finally got “me” back. Dr. Mason performed my breast lift with such skill and care, and the results have truly changed how I feel about myself. For the first time in a long time, I feel confident, feminine, and proud of my reflection. It wasn’t just a procedure—it was a gift to myself, and I’ll forever be grateful. Dr. Mason is truly an artist when it comes to body transformation. He didn’t just perform a procedure—he restored my self-confidence and helped me feel empowered in my own skin again. Every single person—from the front desk to the nurse anesthetist—treated me with kindness, respect, and just the right amount of hand-holding. I never felt like just another patient—I felt like their top priority (and maybe a little like a VIP). If you’re considering this procedure, stop hesitating. Call Dr. Mason. You’ll thank me.
I first discovered Dr. Mason on Instagram through a video where he was reviewing a case study I had participated in. After exploring more of his work, I was impressed and decided to contact Southern Surgical Arts to schedule a Zoom consultation with him. Going into it, I knew I wanted a breast lift, fat transfer, and possibly a revision or extension of a previous tummy tuck I’d had elsewhere, which I wasn’t fully satisfied with. I was very clear that I didn’t want implants, and unlike other surgeons I had spoken to, Dr. Mason completely respected that—he never pushed them on me. From that first conversation, I had a strong feeling he was the right surgeon for me. During our consultation, he explained that with fat grafting, most patients require multiple sessions to achieve their ideal look, whereas implants offer a more predictable outcome. I appreciated his honesty and was 100% comfortable with that information. About a month later, I came into the office for my pre-op appointment and met Dr. Mason in person. He was a bit shy at first but very personable and easy to talk to. We thoroughly reviewed the surgical plan, he answered all of my questions thoughtfully, and I left feeling confident and reassured. My breasts had quite a bit of asymmetry due to years of breastfeeding, weight gain, and then significant weight loss. I told him I just wanted them to be “sisters—not cousins”—and he completely understood. The morning of surgery, I arrived for my appointment and was warmly welcomed by the staff. Everyone was punctual, professional, and kind. We reviewed the plan again before he did his markings. I asked a few last-minute questions, and he answered them patiently. Everything moved quickly from there, and the next thing I remember was waking up comfortably in my hotel room. That evening, Dr. Mason’s fellow called to check in on me, which I really appreciated. The following day, I returned to the office for a post-op check. Dr. Mason examined everything, took photos, and made sure I was comfortable and doing well. While I knew it wasn’t the final result yet, I could already tell I was going to be happy with the outcome. I’m now three weeks post-op and couldn’t be more pleased. Dr. Mason corrected the asymmetry in my breasts with the lift and fat grafting, gave me excellent liposuction results, and fixed the areas I was unhappy with from my previous tummy tuck. Dr. Mason is truly a gem, and I’m so grateful I found him.
My experience with Dr. Mason through the MedSpa was exceptional. He is very down to earth and easy to talk to about concerns. His Assistant, Stormy, is a God send and provides the best customer service to their patients. She is extremely knowledgeable and makes you feel welcomed. I love SSA because they have everything you need in one building!
Dr Mason was very nice and knowledgeable. Very attentive and answered every question I had whether it was small or big. He gave me a super natural look. I had lipo to the flanks , back , upper/ lower abdomen, and hip dip fat transfer. Very little bleeding after surgery and I only had to take 1 pain pill durning my whole recovery . I'm two weeks post op and you can barely see my lipo holes. If your looking to get cosmetic surgery with a super natural look then Dr Mason is the doctor .
Dr. Mason was incredible! Made me so comfortable and I loved my results. I had a tummy tuck with lipo 360 and my results are better than I ever could have imagined. He was there every step of the way for my healing with any questions or concerns I had. Would definitely recommend him as a surgeon!
If you’re looking for a gimmicky social media star looking to be famous or a Dr who acts like a car salesman, this is not your guy. In my opinion, Dr Mason is bringing back professionalism to cosmetic surgery (if you’ve seen a cosmetic surgeon on TikTok or Insta, you know what I’m talking about)! Dr Mason did lipo on my stomach, hips and used his magic Renuvion wand for my inner thighs. I always thought lipo on inner thighs would result in saggy skin and the only way around it was a thigh lift. I was wrong! I am so very happy with my results and I’m only 10 days out. I know the results will be better as swelling decreases and bruising heals. Dr Mason took his time to answer all my questions. He has never made me feel rushed or like he has somewhere else to be. I have a lot of respect for Dr Mason for being honest with me and he never tried to upsale me on unnecessary procedures (unlike 2 other consults I had). He made sure we were both on the same page as far as expectations vs reality. Crazy part of that is how he exceeded all my expectations! I can’t wait to see my results in 3-6 months!! I also want to mention that he saw me the very next day to make sure I was comfortable and understood all aftercare instructions. I actually felt well enough to return to work just 2 days after surgery! Dr Mason is hands down one of the top 3 best decisions I’ve ever made. He’s an artist. If you’re still trying to decide, just do a free consult with him & do it for yourself.
I don’t have enough space to write how happy I am with my results. I had a Tummy Tuck with Lipo 360 then had a scar revision & lipo with renuvion to my inner thighs. Dr Mason is not only an artist but he’s fun & professional. He took time to answer all my questions. He calls to check on his patients & genuinely seems to care about my health & expectations. Dr Mason cares about my recovery and pain management. He offers several different options during his procedures for pain management. He removed 7 lbs of skin and fat! I am super pleased with my belly button too. I have a flat tummy, smooth hips and he used renuvion on the fat pockets of my inner thighs. My results are so much better than what I had thought he could achieve. I highly recommend him! Dr. Mason is such an amazing surgeon! I had my mommy makeover done by him in January of 2022( Lipo 360, BBL and breast augmentation). I did not have any wish pics, I told him what I wanted and he knew exactly what to do. From the beginning I felt so comfortable with him, he has a very calm and gentle demeanor. His bedside manner is not something that you see often in any area of healthcare, especially in a plastic surgeon, but Dr. Mason excels at making you feel comfortable and heard. This makes him very easy to communicate with because he listens. I could rave about him all day. Surgery wise, I opted for 380 cc gummy bear implants (no lift) I wanted a natural but still bombshell kind of result for the entire mommy makeover and he delivered everything I could have wanted, the BBL is perfect and not overly done (I don't look like an ant) I saw Dr. Mason the day after my surgery for the 24 hour post op checkup and he was super gentle and patient with me (I'm a big baby) and on every follow up that we did Dr. Mason gave me piece of mind and made me feel at ease with the recovery process. I am almost a year post op and I know without a doubt that Dr. Mason is the only plastic surgeon that will ever work on me. 10 out of 10 I would recommend him to anyone. Side note - I flew in from NY for the surgery and flew home 14 days post op, all of our post op follow ups have been virtual and I had no complications that would have made not being able to follow up in person an issue. - I would do it all again a million times because Dr. Mason is just that skilled at his craft and is an amazing surgeon.
Dr.Mason answered every single answer I had in my consultation, he took the time and listened to me. My surgery experience was great. I had lipo 360, mini BBL, lipo to my inner thighs and arms , and a breast augmentation. I am so happy with my results already and it’s only been a few weeks. Dr.Mason checked on me the night of surgery , and saw me the very next day at his office to check things over and make sure everything looked good . I appreciated the care he showed by checking on me. I have a few other procedures in mind and I will definitely be back to see Dr.Mason and his team.
I was nervous for my laser hair removal, but Rachel has been comforting and kind. She continually checks in with you to ensure the treatment is as painless as possible. Rachel is up front about the risks as well as recommended prep and aftercare, and she offers her honest opinion about what results to expect and when.
If you are looking to define your abdominal muscles more, abdominal etching is certainly a reasonable option for you. You wouldn't need much, and if you do too much it tends to look a little masculine, but some mild etching would look great on you.
Abdominal etching should be considered an additional procedure even when using Vaser and power assisted liposuction. It requires an extra skillset, and takes much longer than vaser liposuction alone. If someone is telling you etching is included it's because they are going to do very little etching.
I'm sorry to say but your surgeon did a poor job on your hi definition liposuction, and I try to avoid saying things like that. They left way too much fat on your abdomen. The good news is this can likely be improved with additional liposuction, though it may be a difficult procedure to perform. The bad news is that you probably can't have any type of tummy tuck because the etching that was performed will likely not line up properly with the underlying muscle. I would recommend seeing someone experienced in advanced body sculpting to see what options they may suggest.
Airsculpt is just a trademarked name for a common liposuction technique. The incisions in the midback give the most versatility for different angles to perform the liposuction, and I frequently use them also. If those small incisions are an issue for you, there are different places they can be placed, but it might make the liposuction more difficult.
You will likely get the best results from combining all 3 you listed. Start with liposuction, followed by Body tite to the upper part of your abdomen (above your belly button) and a mini tummy tuck to address lose skin below the belly button. We call this a RAMA (radiofrequency assisted mini abdominoplasty) at our practice.
