Is having liposuction of the entire back and only the bottom part of the abdomen considered lipo 360? (photos)

Liposuction 360 simply implies going all around  the body, and not whether or not a part or all of the abdomen is included. If a patient has a lot of fat in the abdomen, waist and flanks, they will generally need liposuction of the upper abdomen at the time of their tummy  tuck. Since current techniques emphasize limited undermining of the upper abdomen, preserving blood supply, there should be little concern about skin necrosis from the liposuction, at least in my practice this has not been an issue. A thorough liposuction of the abdomen, waist, flanks and bra rolls gives an immediate pleasing result.

It is true that you would most benefit from a tummy tuck, and I would definitely add liposuction to it to take you to the next level of results. Even though you are right that we do not want to lipo a lot at the upper area of the abdomen in a TT to prevent blood flow issues, with certain techniques, you are able to do some liposuction of that area and still tighten the skin without healing issues. I would definitely plan on liposuction of you back/flanks and a portion of your upper abdomen, to reduce the thickness there. So technically yes, Lipo 360 is a bit of what you would be getting but you are getting more of a tummy tuck with lipo of the back/flanks/abdomen. I would not stress too much about what it is called, more about what your goals are and the discussion with your board certified plastic surgeon about what to do to fix them. Generally speaking, liposuction 360 usually means liposuction of abdomen flanks and upper and lower back regions. It appears from your photographs that you would benefit more from traditional tummy tuck with liposuction of the flanks and possibly back, if needed. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to confirm my advice. Good luck.

based on your photos you need full tummy tuck with liposuction of full stomach, back, sides, arms and inner thighs to give you a nice contour.  you CAN get liposuction of the full area wit ha tummy tuck.  if you do liposuction without skin removal you will have loose skin even with internal heating.
You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best.  Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring.  Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods.  The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring.  This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face.  Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra.  If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty).  Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting.  Dr. Emer.

Hi, thank you for sharing your question. 360 Lipo refers to suctioning fat all the way around the torso. You seem to have excess skin in your abdomen which would likely require a tummy tuck. If you wish to also have liposuction of your abdomen, perhaps this can be a staged procedure. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to review your best options. I hope this helps. Liposuction 360 is liposuction of the entire torso all the way around, all areas connected. The is no risk of skin necrosis in the hands of a well trained plastic surgeon who understands the vascular anatomy.I believe it is important to see a board certified plastic surgeon in person who has extensive experience in advanced body sculpting techniques, rather than keep posting the same question multiple times and try to piece a story together from the 30+ responses you received. generally speaking, lipo 360 is liposuction of back, flanks, and abdomen and not a liposuction of separate areas. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Liposuction 360 or 360 degree liposuction refers to liposuction around the entire torso of the anatomy (abdomen, sides, and back) rather than lipo of a particular area.

Thank you for your question and photos, 360 liposuction usually means upper, medium and lower abdomen, upper medium and lower back and your waist, when the TT is necessary 360 liposuction is required as well  , the surgeons has to remove fat in several areas to warranty the outcome and offer you the results that you want, I suggest a consultation with a board certified surgeon.
