The doctor I want to go to said that he can not remove the fat from my butt because it will cause the skin to sag and the only way to treat this is to add fat the my thighs to transition better. Is this true? Can I not have any fat removed from my butt?
Answer: Lipo Candidate - VASER HD, J Plasma/Renuvion/Inmode BodyTite tightening, fat grafting for buttock lift/BBL, Cellfina/Sculptra lipsuction with repositioning of fat and internal heating would help, Cellfina also for cellulite. nothing will completely improve this without doing a modified lower buttock / posterior thigh lift. I suggest seeing an expert as internal heating will be needed for the best outcome. You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods and do very poorly for tightening skin or significant skin tightening or contouring. Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heat the skin with radio-frequency devices such as J PLASMA/RENUVION, InMode BodyTite, ThermiRF to heat the under surface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HIDEF VASER contouring and can only be done by a well . trained body contouring specialist. At the same time fat should be harvested, PRP and stem cells added and injected into muscles or indentations/cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. This is known as a Brazilian butt lift when you inject the fat to the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with cellfina, sculptra, subcision and/or fillers such as bellafill, renuva synthetic fat, or sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery then it will need to be removed such as lower abdominal skin (tummy tuck/abdominoplasty), breast skin (breast lift), arm skin (brachioplasty). Overall you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. Answer: I have an "Ant deformity" and I'd like to get it reduced and reshaped to be an ore of an upside down heart. Hello, thank you for your question. Yes it is possible to liposuction the fat and re-positioning it to improve the shape. I recommend you to schedule an email, Skype or in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss about your goals.

Answer: Buttuck Liposuction Liposuction of the central mound of the buttocks is generally not recommended and hardly ever done. However the lateral thigh (saddlebag) which blends into the buttock or upper buttock near the flanks is liposuctioned routinely with good results.

Answer: Buttock liposuction Yes, you can have liposuction of the lower lateral buttocks and then have that fat replaced in the upper part to try to create a different buttock shape. I would bring pictures of the shape you are trying to achieve and get a couple other opinions Best of Luck! Dr. Boschert

Answer: Follow-up: I have an "Ant deformity" and I'd like to get it reduced and reshaped to be an ore of an upside down heart. I was asked to look at your 2 postings. Though the other MD responders are correct in their evaluations and recommendations, these are the most aggressive attempts to offer repair or improvements. I might consider to try directed lipo to inferior buttocks were the over filling has occurred with specialized lipo and taping of areas. Though not as aggressive with minimal scarring that offers an attempt to achieve improvement with little downside risks. But always best to seek in person or virtual consultations.
