I’m 33, 5’5” 135 lbs. I had an implant replacement and lift. I feel as though my right (left If you’re looking at me) is shaped differently, and the size is different. Am I crazy? Can this be fixed? I dread the thought of needing surgery again but I feel like this is very noticeable. I wish they both looked like the left :( it’s been 6 months since surgery. I was told it would correct itself with healing but it hasn’t. I almost feel it has to do with incision on that side.
Answer: Revision Yes, the drooping breast can be tightened to better match the opposite side. Please discuss this with your surgeon.

Answer: Breast surgery Overall it’s a good result. Minor revision on your right breast could be done to even things up. Could be done under local anesthesia

Answer: Breast revision Thank you for your question. Yes this can be fixed. Unfortunately it does require a trip to the operating room to revise your implant and the capsule and also the skin. At this point you would benefit from an internal bra as you have had multiple breast surgeries. Good luck.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear SL0709, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.
