BBL or just Liposuction - advice? (photos)

You are a great candidate for 360 Liposuction with BBL, however, the addition of the BBL is a personal choice and will depend on whether you are happy with you current buttock volume. It seems to be slightly deflated and in my opinion may benefit from additional volume. A proper exam by a board certified plastic surgeon will help give you options and answers. I hope this helps.

Hello and thank you for your question. The answer ultimately comes down to what is most important to you and weighing the risks and benefits of liposuction alone versus liposuction with fat grafting. I think you would notice a dramatic difference with liposuction to the flanks and back alone, and it would provide you with a smaller waistline and accentuate your hips as well. With your waist being smaller your waist to hip ratio would be improved. Because I perform the procedure with safety as a top priority, I feel comfortable suggesting fat grafting to the buttocks and/or hips in almost all of my liposuction patients as it is such a wonderful surgery to recontour the body and use your own fat where you need it. You could have increased projection and a rounder shape by placing a modest amount of fat on the outer mid and upper portions of your buttocks. There is increased surgical risk with fat grafting, as well as more discomfort postoperatively, and potentially more cost as well. You should discuss these pros and cons with a board certified plastic surgeon. It ultimately comes down to your goals and what is safe and reasonable. Best of luck.

Based on the pictures you appear to be good candidate for Full body intense liposuction including your belly, waist, laterals back and love handle to improving your body contour also I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL).

You will be wonderful candidate for liposuction to waist, flanks upper and lower back and use some of that fat to tranfer to buttocks and hips in order to add some curves.
You have left some extra skin (dog ears) both sides of the Tummy tuck incision and it will get more obvious after liposuction, so just need a little extension of the incision.

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Liposuction alone will help and doing a BBL will help more.

That said, delivering consistent high-quality Liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people believe.

Results of these procedures vary immensely simply based on who does the procedure.

I cannot emphasize provider selection enough when it comes to Liposuction and fat transfer.

The results vary from both providers individual view of what looks good a.k.a. aesthetic judgment but also simply having or not having experience and inherent skill for this procedure.

A lot of plastic surgeons view Liposuction as an unsophisticated grant procedure and their results resemble that philosophy.

Mastering liposuction and fat transfer procedures takes years of dedicated work ideally by someone who has committed a large part of their career to just doing these procedures well.

Personally my end goal is almost always to create as smooth even S-curve from the knees to the shoulders. In particular I am opposed to BBL‘s that look like lollipops with thin thighs with large bulging buttocks. I believe providers who purposely Liposuction the upper thigh to make the buttocks look larger are creating unnatural contours that are undesirable.

I would encourage you like I encourage all patients to be highly selective and carefully wet plastic surgeons before committing to having this procedure. Do that by having multiple in person consultations.

Generally what you’re looking for is a provider who has a collection of before and after pictures that are not only impressive but read like a telephone book in combination with having the least number of justified negative reviews on various physician review websites.

These two single variables are the only ones I’ve ever found that consistently predict quality results.

Providers I respect the most have an immense amount of experience with massive collections of quality before and after pictures and manage to not upset patients during years of practice.

Whether you should add a BBL or not it’s up to you. If you were my patient I would steer you towards adding the BBL because I believe it will give better results the Liposuction alone. however well done Liposuction with the low transition of the buttocks to the waist and love handles will improve your contour significantly.

Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photos, I note that the abdomen is flat, but you demonstrate full flanks and hips and relatively small buttocks. Due to photographic limitation, I cannot determine if your have associated stretch marks about the flanks and hips.Stretch marks indicate the presence of permanently damaged overstretched skin usually following pregnancy or significant weight fluctuation where the dermal elastic fibers have ruptured resulting in the loss of elasticity. The skin will stretch over a greater surface area, predisposing to sagging.
If there are no stretch marks, you may consider liposuction and fat transfer. The decision to enlarge the buttocks is up to personal choiceIf stretch marks are significant, you might benefit more from a "beltectomy" to remove excess skin and underlying fat from flanks and hips.Best wishes...
