Because the steroids used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and the active components of BOTOX function within the body very differently, there should be no impact on the results of your BOTOX because of your RA medication. I would, however, be sure to double check with your doctor and an experienced, qualified BOTOX injector to let each of them know of your situation. The steroids you take for your Rheumatoid arthritis should not have any effect on your Botox or vice versa.  Just let your provider know beforehand and you should have nothing to worry about.  

Botox is one of my most popular procedures in my office.  Being on steroids should not be a contraindication to Botox injections.  Botox is safe and effective but it is always best to consult an expert in Botox for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green

It should be fine for you to have Botox while taking your medication for RA.  The two medications should not affect each other.  Be sure to see an experienced injector near you to learn more.
