Is it safe to get a massage a week after Botox injections for forehead lines?

Hi @RSOGDD! It is safe to get a massage a week after receiving Botox. However, I would not get a massage the same day you get receive Botox.

I typically tell my patients not to do any strenuous activities for 4-5 hours after injections.  Resume all normal activities after 24 hours. My patients would be allowed to lie face down or get a massage 24 hours after Botox injections.I would recommend speaking with your physician injector with any questions or concerns you might have.All the best,

Thank you for your question regarding the effects of having a massage after Botox treatments. It would not be advisable within the first 24 hrs as it's important not to manipulate the treatment area and we want you to stay upright for at least 4 hours after your injection. Your massage is planned a week after treatment, at that time there are no restrictions, enjoy it!

Lying down with pressure on Botox injeciton sites during a masage, even a day after, will not adversely affect your Botox treatment. You should be able to get a massage 1 week after Botox treatment without any concern. Your Botox treatment will not be affected by a massage. I do not recommend my patients have a facial massage the day of their Botox treatment. Best wishes!

I would see no problem having a massage, with your face down on the headrest, one week after a Botox treatment to the forehead.  Having your face in the headrest should not affect your Botox results.
