Hi, I have a regularly scheduled massage for my neck and shoulder pain at my physical therapists office once a month. I realized I am getting Botox the week before my next upcoming appointment. Half of the hour long massage requires lying face down with my forehead resting in the massage table headrest. Will this contact and pressure cause my Botox to migrate or hurt my results? If so what is the recommended wait time between Botox injections and massage. Thanks.

Hi,Thank you for your question. When done properly, botox treatment for the DAO should not affect the orbicularis. The DAO inserts into the modiolus but the bulk of the muscle is lower so that should be the target injection area.Hope this helps!
