I am 38 years old. I have had dermal filler in the tear trough area 2 months ago. I wanted to have botox also to correct my frown lines & crows feet, but was recommended to have cheek fillers 1st and then botox. Does it matter which order I get this done?

Answer: Fillers and Botox Thank you for your question. If the filler and botox are going to be in different areas, then it does not matter in which order they are injected. If you are going to get filler and botox in the same area, you want to have the botox injected first. The botox keeps the muscles from moving (which causes the lines), and the filler fills in the lines to dissipate their appearance. If you do the filler without the botox, the muscle movement will continue and lines will still be visible. It is possible to acheive great results, but you must be patient and understand your providers recommendation. Be sure to consult with your physician for the best recommendation based on your facial assessment. Best of luck to you!

Answer: Botox/Fillers Dear pp284, Thank you for your question. Using Botox to correct your frown lines & crows feet is fine to have following on from tear trough filler. There doesn't generally need to be a certain order to do it in and sometimes these treatments are performed at the same time, depending on the individuals requirements. Hope this helps! Best Wishes, Mr Golchin
