I am 29 years old with children and a high stress job which I am assuming has added to the aging I have noticed lately in my face. My eyes look tired and have extra skin that feels heavy, and my mouth pulls downwards. Is it too soon to consider a facelift? What are my options at this point?
Answer: Do a face lift when your skin starts to sag, not when your face is deflated Thank you for posting your pictures and short story. Yes it is definitely too soon for you to do a facelift It is not a question of age, but you don't need one because you have no problem of laxity in your neck or jawline. And no amount of pulling will make you look younger, it will only flatten the lights and shadows of your face. What your pictures show is rather a loss of volume in the periorbital and perioral areas, which is a very frequent issue in young working moms who loose weight after pregnancy. at this stage, you have two options: - non surgical and resorbable, to do once a year: hyaluronic acids- surgical and long lasting: lipofilling (fat grafting)Both technics give very good results in good handsI tend to favor lipofilling if possible, because of the regenerative properties of the adipose derived stem cells which are injected during the procedure.hope this helps

Answer: Start Small With Facial Rejuvenation Although I completely understand your frustration with the early signs of aging, it's far too early for a facelift — and your chronological age is only a part of that. Although you're beginning to see some changes, they're not yet severe enough to warrant surgical intervention. At this point, a facelift would only make you look overdone. Instead, you're much more likely to get the natural-looking results you want with carefully applied injectable fillers. These products add a bit of volume to hollow areas, reducing that tired, downturned look. Their results are temporary but still quite long-lasting. Please seek out a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist for the safest and best-looking results.

Answer: Too young Thank you for your question. Age in itself is not the only criteria for facelifts. If someone has had a massive weight loss with lots of loose skin, then they may be a candidate. However, based on your photo, I don't think you are a candidate for a facelift. I would recommend fillers, botox, and possibly a peel or lasers for skin rejuvenation. All the best,

Answer: Rather than age, skin quality is what I look for when evaluating someone for facelift candidacy. Rather than age, skin quality is what I look for when evaluating someone for facelift candidacy. If you have enough sagging skin in the lower face and neck to warrant a facelift, then it may be a solution for you. Otherwise, there are a variety of non-invasive options that can help to restore vitality and youthfulness to the face, including laser resurfacing and facial fillers. I recommend visiting a board-certified facial plastic surgeon for an in-person consultation to come up with an effective treatment plan for you. I hope this helps.

Answer: Fillers Hello, Thank you for your question. Based on your goals, you may want to consider a dermal filler. Temporary dermal fillers may provide you with your desired results with minimal discomfort and recovery times. The solution to restoring your youthfulness may be to carefully replace lost volume first in the cheeks. I recommend you book a consultation with a qualified injector, to ensure you're a good candidate for this procedure. Take care.

Answer: Face Hi brittie, thanks for the question. You don't need a facelift or even a mini facelift. You would probably be completely happy with some volume enhancement to the face. This can be done with fillers or fat transfer (the fat is taken from your abdomen or thighs and put into your face). Go in and talk to a facial specialist in your area for an in person consultation to find out more. Good luck!
