I'm a DD and want to be an A. I found a surgeon to perform a reduction with a free nipple graft to achieve this. She says it will look natural on my frame (5'9, 120 lbs.). My family and friends think it's too extreme and will cause "reverse dysmorphia." I'm pretty confident a drastic reduction is a sound decision because my breasts have caused me significant distress throughout my life (I'm 44.). Is it too extreme? Has anyone had success with this type of reduction? (Edited)

Answer: Breast reduction and lift It is possible to dramatically reduce the size of the breasts with a successful outcome, though it is more common for patients to be satisfied with their results when the reduction gives them proportionate results. It is your body and you should make the decision based on your opinion, not on the opinion of others.

Answer: Bellesoma Method The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
