I was referred to Dr. Lisa Jewel at South Bay Plastic Surgeons for reconstruction after a mastectomy. The office is welcoming and the office staff is friendly, professional and helpful. I am always seen at my appointment time. Dr. Jewel is absolutely incredible. She took the time to understand where I was in my treatment process, and how cancer treatment affected my body and what reconstruction was available to me. I considered both DIEP Flap surgery and reconstruction using implants.

Growing up I was always made fun of my legs and my chest. I have big quads from playing soccer and no chest… I never felt like a woman. I always told myself ‘one day I will feel like a women’. I'm a 36 yr old mother of two, I'm about 5'7, 120lbs slender build. Iv always had small boobs and especially after breastfeeding my two kids, it left me even smaller. Breast implants for the New Year
Scheduled BA January 7th 2020. Can hardly wait for the day. Always been a very small B but most likely an A after breast feeding my two children. 35 years young I feel like I have so much life to live and want to live it to the fullest with pretty full boobs. Looking at implants size around 425-475cc so far but will Finalize things at my pre op appointment in mid December. I'm 5'7 145 lbs and very active.
