You need a significant amount of volume to mimic Kylie Jenner’s overfilled look. I’d suggest starting slow, with just a syringe of Juvederm or another thicker filler like that. Once a month, you return to your dermatologist til you get the look you want. When you reach your goal, you maintain it with another syringe or two every several months. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist will give you a better idea of what it will take to reach your goal. You can also discuss in more depth the kind of lips that would look best on you — not Kylie.
Hi dogloverlady, This is difficult to answer. The photos show Kylie's lips with makeup. 1 syringe of filler is very small but can shape and augment your lips. It is best to customize the injection to your lips as everyone's lip shape is different. It is best to setup a consultation with an experienced injector to discuss your options to achieve your goals.
Thank you for your question. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon. It is important to determine if you are a candidate for the procedure, and to develop a treatment plan to achieve your desired goal.Best wishes,
Most Doctors will start with one syringe to avoid over-filling. These lip fillers (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good for creating a symmetrical and full lip. Nova threads can be used to improve lift and shape. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert to go over your desired results. Best, Dr. Emer
Unfortunately someone injected her with runny product. This create generally lip fullness rather than anatomic definition. Runny products include things like Belotero, Juvederm, and Restylane Silk. I think you would have a beautiful lip treatment with just 1 milliliter of Restylane and avoid the overfill effect.
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can use hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane to add volume to the lips. However, it is not advisable to inject more than one syringe of filler at a time. This is to avoid over-filling. Please note that it is not uncommon to have some bruising and swelling after treatment that can take up to 2 weeks to resolve and see your final results. I recommend having a consultation with an expert injector to determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of Luck!
Thank you for your question. It takes time to build beautiful full lips. It can or may take 2-6 syringes depending on the person. It's recommended to start with one syringe initially, and continue to build with one syringe monthly until desired results.
One of the common misconceptions is the idea that recreating one single aspect of the face will make one looking like someone else. It is impossible task and should not be even considered. The individuality and originality of the face depends on many features, your own features. Trying to look like someone else, or cloning, removes unusual innate beauty, attempts to create one of many and always ends in unnatural features in someone who tried to look like someone else but did not succeed. Consider looking natural, looking and being you. Good luck!
Hello Dogloverlady,When considering lip filler it is always best to focus on a goal as opposed to a set amount of filler being injected. Different lips respond differently to filler based on the underlying anatomy. There is also only so much that can be injected into certain lips before the product just comes right out. I would recommend you consult with a facial plastic surgeon that does his or her own injections to learn more about lip filler and what it can accomplish.I hope this helps and good luck.
Hi dogloverlady, Rome wasn't built in a day - neither were Kylie's lips. You need to build up structure and volume over time. You can't overfill so it's more like injecting 1 syringe per month for 3 months. On the third month, you'll probably just need half a syringe (Volbella comes in .5cc syringes) to define the shape. If you wish to build up your own collagen, ask your doctor about thread lifts. All the best, Justin Harper,M.D.
