I am 27 yrs old, not a smoker. For 2 weeks, my lips have been getting smaller daily, it is noticeable, and I'm very concerned. My lips are also changing shape and dropping to the sides, but greater on one side. They are shrinking all around, but I notice the side that is dropping more is also the side that is loosing more volume at a faster rate. I also had some jaw muscle pain on the side that is loosing more volume and dropping more. What possible conditions/disease could this be caused by?
Answer: Filler You should start out with 1cc of juvederm filler or restylane filler and go from there. You do not want to overdo too much filler in the lips. It also depends on the look you are going for too. You can always add more filler to the lips if needed. Just remember if you are going to do your lips and you do not want to bruise you should not take any aspirins or anything that will thin the blood since brusing can occur. One syringe is typically $550

Answer: Lip augmentation Thanks for your question. Strategically placed filler, containing hyaluronic acids such as Juvederm, Restylane, and Volbella, can create fuller volume in the lips. Indeed, it can even suddenly change the shape of the lip as well. However, if you have significant lip shape issues, such as a long upper lip or drooping corners, then you could opt additionally for other procedures, such as an upper and/or corner lip lift. Best to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in lip augmentation.

Answer: My lips are getting smaller day by day. They are 100%natural. How can I fix this? Best thing to do is to augment volume of your lips is to get hyaluronic acid based fillers like Volbella or restylane silk. The results can be stunning. Only problem is that they don’t last forever

Answer: Lip Issues Kitty I am sorry you’re having this problem, but I am unaware of any disease or condition that causes just the lips to become smaller. In general are you losing weight in other parts of your body? I would first get checked by your medical doctor and if you are still concerned about your lips, seek out the advice of a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist for options for you. Best of luck.
