Is it normal to have a clear blister after getting dermal lip filler? (photos)

Question

It is NOT painful or sore at all. It’s just a clear blister. Will it go away? I’ve never had this before. I read somewhere it could be filled that wasn’t injected deep enough? Should I try to pop it to get rid of the blister or will it go away with time? I had this done 24 hours ago & only noticed it now. What is it and why did it Happen? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your question. I suggest that you move forward and consult with your injector / board certified facial plastic surgeon. You can dissolve the filler in that area of your lip.

Hi,That is not a clear blister, it is the lip filler injected too superficially. It is NOT a big deal, the person that did the injection can just inject a tiny amount of an enzyme that will dissolve the filler. Just follow up with him/her.Best,Mehdi Sina, MD
