How long does a liquid facelift last?

Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  Duration of any surgical or minimially invasive procedure will depend on the degree of correction and amount/type of filler material used.  A liquid facelift incorporates use of Botox, which will have effects for 3-4 months, as well as dermal fillers which can last between 6 months and up to 5 years.  Hope this helps.

This approach uses a combination of dermal fillers and neuromodulators for results that typically last 3-12 months.
A mini facelift can treat early signs of aging as well by tightening the underlying facial muscles and repositioning tissue to support the skin. The results of this procedure can last for up to 8 years or more. Your best answer will come from consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, as every patient's needs and expected response to injectables will be different. This impacts the answer of cost. In some cases injectable fillers can give very dramatic results, and in select patients a modified facelift will address early changes quite well. A "mini lift" or modified facelift is typically done under local anesthesia with oral sedating medication, and treats a localized area of the face, can sharpen the jawline, but generally does not address the neck as well as a formal full face/neck lift.

Excellent question. There are many options for nonsurgical facelift. The duration really depends on the product and procedure used. Often times, we combine nonsurgical options to provide a great safe long lasting outcome. I believe that you would be a great candidate for a procedure that I call Aesthetic Facial Balancing. Thank you for your question! A liquid facelift is a facial rejuvenation procedure that uses fillers and botox to improve facial shape. The duration depends on the absorption of fillers and also it depends on duration of botulinum toxin. Absorbable fillers like hyaluronic acid are very safe options and will last fro 6-24months. Thank you for your question. There are several factors that play a role in determining how long a liquid face lift will last. There are several different dermal fillers on the market, each lasting a different length of time depending on the area injected, depth of the injection and number of syringes used. The severity of the correction also plays a role as does the age of the patient. We like to see patients at about 9 months to add a little more to keep our patients looking youthful and refreshed. Liquid face lift is procedure that uses filler to add volume and lift and rejuvenate the face. There many different fillers that can be used.   The most common fillers that are used are temporary fillers such as Juvederm,, Radiesse , Restylane and the like.    The Restylane and regular Juvederm last last about six months and some the other synthetic fillers like Juvederm XC and  Radiesse can last 1 to 2 years.  A very long lasting filler, it last 5 years or more called Bellafill can also be used . Fat transfer to the face uses your own fat that is harvested elsewhere, with a liposuction and used to add volume and lift can last your lifetime as the fat becomes living tissue where it is places.  Most surgical face lifts also uses fat transfer along with the surgical lift.  The prices vary with the fillers that last the shortest being the least expensive and the longer lasting ones costing more.  Hope this answers your questions, Dr Wright.

There are several ways to approach this procedure. For muscle relaxation of the brow/ forehead you can use either Botox, Dysport or Xeomin. For facial volume you can use dermal fillers that last 6-12 months or you can investigate the new ALMI procedure which uses your own fat and platelets that have been micronized into nano particles and placed in the face or hands, this lasts years and can have no side effect. A liquid facelift accomplishes facial rejuvenation by using a combination of dermal fillers and neuromodulators to restore volume loss, enhance the natural contours of the face and lift muscle.  The amount of syringes required to achieve optimal correction can vary from patient to patient for a number of reasons:  1. the degree of aging   2. the amount of correction needed and/or desired by the patient, and 3. the type of dermal filler/neuromodulator necessary to produce great results.
The longevity of fillers is going vary based on which product or products your injector decides to use, but fillers vary in their longevity, lasting anywhere from 4 months to 2 years post-injection.  Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport last 3-4 months on average.
