Can I have surgery to add a nose bump? (Photos)

It can be done by adding cartilage to the area. However, it is not a very common wish we see from our patients. Therefore, I highly recommend you to see a plastic surgeon who is very experienced.

I understand that you would like to change the appearance of your current dorsal hump from one to another, however, I do not believe that this is feasible. In general, goals of rhinoplasty surgery are to provide a less distracting nasal appearance, along with better nasal breathing. Yes - this can be done. A bump on the nose is excess bone or cartilage. We can create that for you and place it on the nose in the size / shape you desire.

Hello and thank you for your question. It is possible to add dorsal augmentation with a dorsal onlay graft . I always use diced cartilage wrapped in fascia for this. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Hi,In your simulation photo it seems you have made your nose tip more rotated and more defined nose tip.Adding bump is possible as it is possible to remove,it depands to patient’s demand.So not only reduction but also augmentation of the nose bridge is possible.Have a nice day.
