What can be done about "cut" looking nose? (photo)

Why does my nose look horizontally cut in a way that makes my philtrum appear large and my nose unappealing? Are there any procedures that can fix this?

As far as I can understand from your question We can make a more accurate assessment if you can send us your photos in good light at 95 degree angles from the front and side profile.

Based on your limited photo, you appear to have wideness of the lower 1/3 of your nose, and this is associated with an over shortened nasal appearance and a retracted Columella. Based on your appearance, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. You retracted columella can be brought down and the tip refined so it's thinner, all while keeping it looking natural. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a columellar onlay graft as part of your rhinoplasty. This will likely solve the issue you are describing. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

The picture of the nose reveals a retracted columella. 
Consult with an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon to get a thorough internal examination of the inside of your nose to assess the septum along with the external cartilages of the nose. 
Correction will require surgery for a permanent correction. I would advise against someone attempting fillers to correct this. Cartilage repositioning and grafting should correct this for you.
