Hi! So I have broken my nose multiple times by playing sports and am considering a rhinoplasty to make my face appear more feminine. However, I am worried about how the rhinoplasty might affect the proportions of my face. So mainly I am coming here to ask what procedures I should maybe get to acheive a more feminine face and also if its not just my nose thats throwing off my facial proportions. Thank you in advance!

Answer: Rhinoplasty There are several things that can be done to feminize the face. Your photos were quite helpful in general. I suspect that rhinoplasty alone will help you achieve your goals, but we can also look at your hairline shape and your cheeks when not smiling. Watch our videos to learn more. This is a particular research and clinical focus of mine for 25 years.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. Maneuvers for your surgery would include dorsal hump reduction, tip refinement, nasal tip deprojection, tip elevation, among other maneuvers. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
