Can I use a hydrocortisone cream on my lips after lip injections to minimize lip swelling?

In general we don't recommend applying steroids on thin skin and mucosa.  Arnica preparations (OTC) my help with bruising and swelling.   

Hi and thanks for your question. I do not recommend using hydrocortisone after filler injection as it can increase the risk of infection. The swelling after lip augmentation is usually very minimal and intermittent ice compress can help for the swelling and bruise.
