Is it true that a capsule left inside will be reabsorbed by the body?

Hello Dear @Polite306419 Is not true that the capsules are reabsorbed. After 21 years of experience and several breast implant removal surgeries I suggest taking out the whole capsule. After so many explants I can attest that when a patient comes for an explant and had has a change of prostheses without the removal of the first capsules, when I perform surgery I find 2 capsules: The ones left there from the first surgery and the capsules of the new prostheses. So every time we change prostheses we also remove the capsules because that way the mammary tissue can recuperate better and avoid a future inflammatory response from the body or an autoimmune syndrome like Asia Syndrome. Your breast capsules must be removed completely. The capsules will not absorb into the body and capsules can continue to make you sick as well.

in most cases, thin capsules are left inside because the body is able to reabsorb it. In the case of thick capsules, it should be removed together with implants.
