I’ve had one lift when implants were put in, is it more risky to have a second lift when they are taken out?

The technique I recommend is explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained, if not injured during your previous surgery. Fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. You need an examination to see if a lift can be done. If you have little actual breast tissue, then it cannot be done, or may have to be done later.

If your skin is such that blood supply concerns from a second lift is present you may want to stage your surgeries. You can have the implants removed and allow the breasts to fully heal from that procedure. You can then return at a later time to have the lift.
