Juvederm Ultra may give you longer lasting results. Lip filler results typically last 6-9 months. I suggest following up with a cosmetic dermatologist. Hope this helps.
You can definitely try juvederm three or four. The results should be similar to Restylane but in some patients it maylast longer and in others it may actually last less time.
We typically use the Restylane family- they have two relatively new products called Restylane Refyne and Restylane Defyne. These products have more cross linking of the HA molecules, so they are more flexible for natural filler results. We are also seeing them last a bit longer if the lips. You would choose the Refyne if you want a more subtle, natural enhancement and Defyne if you want a more augmented lip.
Juvederm is commonly used for lip injections with very nice results. Typically the product doesn't last as long in the lips as in other areas of injection. Results typically last 6-9 months. Speak with your injector to determine if Juvederm is right for you.
Lip fillers, in my experience, usually last 6-9 months. I prefer the Restylane family of products in my clinic but I suspect you will see similar results with Juvederm. The problem with some of the thicker fillers like Juvederm UltraPlus is that it can result in a "stiff" lip which looks unnatural.
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, it is not terriblyunusual for filler to go away much faster, in a very active area like the lips, than it does in other facial areas. Juvederm ultra is commonly used in the lipsand is likely to last about the same as Restylane. In my experience, Vobella is agood product for the lips, but does not last any longer. I have used the newJuvederm product, Vollure, successfully in the lips and it does seem to last a little longer. I hope this helps.

Juvederm Ultra is a great HA-based dermal filler to achieve lip augmentation of moderate volume, and would be a great option to try next if you aren't loving your results with Restylane. Juvederm Ultra is much more structural than Volbella and will last longer. However, any filler injected into the lips or perioral area will dissolve more rapidly since this is a highly active area. On average, patients will need this area injected more frequently to maintain desired results.Hope this helps!Kelly
It appears to be normal bruising base on your picture. It should fade in the next few days, and Arnica can be helpful in resolving it. However, if there is worsening pain and/or changes in skin color and condition, you must return to your injector for assessment.
I don't recommend it. Usually a numbing cream is applied to increase your comfort during injections and some fillers have lidocaine. I recommend injections with cannulas to limit swelling and/or bruising. If you remain concerned, I recommend following up with your injector. Hope this helps.
While this should be fine, avoid firm pressure to the treated area and understand you may have some swelling after treatment. It will take 1-2 weeks for final results. Hope this helps.
I advise my patients to start with 1 ml of filler in the lips and wait 10-14 days to see how the lips look after the swelling resolves and then make a decision as to whether to get a second 1ml syringe. Remember there is no hurry. Discuss your concerns with your injector and describe the look ...
It may be that a different filler like Restylane may give you longer lasting results. I recommend following up with your injector about your concerns. Hope this helps.
There can be some lumps after filler which should resolve in 1-2 weeks. If it's after 2 weeks and you aren't happy with your results, you can have the filler reversed. Hope this helps.
