Why do my lip fillers not last on me? Juvederm - had around 3ml spread over 4/5 months

Hi! I have quite uneven lips and thought I'd get juvederm lip fillers. I've had around 3ml in total, spread over a period of 4/5 months. They seem to look nice on the first few days after I've had them done whilst they are still swollen, but after a week it looks very similar to before, it's not noticeable and there's barely any change! Can you please advise?

It may be that a different filler like Restylane may give you longer lasting results. I recommend following up with your injector about your concerns. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your question. Results vary from patient to patient. It could be that more product is needed for results that last longer, or perhaps you may benefit from a different product altogether. Ultimately, results cannot be guaranteed for every patient.

Lip injections are an art and a science. I would definitely recommend you consult an expert and try a different hyaluronic filler which has a higher G-prime like Restylane Lyft.  There are many different choices of fillers and it would be most helpful if you would re-post the question with before and after photos.

I guess your doctor should have known that if after the first injection using juvederm your lips went down very quickly, they should have switch to a different form of hyaluronic acid filler such as Restylane or Restylane defyne. That is my recommendation to you and try a completely different filler. Good luck from New York City
