I'm currently in the process of planning orthognathic surgery (lefort 1 and trying to rotate mandible to a more horizontal plan, getting rid of my chin implant, and having genioplasty done). However my midface is quite long abd also very very flat. I think I would benefit from lefort 3 but since it's too risky and not really done, will cheek implants suffice? I hate how flat I am!

Answer: Maxillary Advancement with Cheek Implants You do not want nor are you a candidate for a LeFort III advancement. Having cheek implants placed at the time of the LeFort 1 procedure (or after) would be the more appropriate approach to addressing your flat cheek concerns.
