I am considering getting cheek implants but I am nervous about the affect they will have on my overall appearance. I have read reviews about people having trouble smiling or a lengthened philtrum as a result. I was wondering if I get the implants and regret it, how much it will cost to get them removed?

All cheek implants stretch out the tissues to some degree, most of which will shrink back down particularly if the implants are not too big. But some patients will develop a soft tissue sag or flattening over the cheek area where the implants used to be. The capsule will eventually be resorbed....
The condition you are describing seems highly suspicious for an implant infection. I suggest you follow with your operating surgeon ASAP for treatment. Good Luck
