How much would it cost to have cheek implants removed?

 Having done  cheek implants for more than 35 years I have never removed cheek implants due to patient dissatisfaction. If they are properly done they should not need to be removed unless there would be the rare person who gets an infection. If I did have to remove implants  that a patient did not like I would not charge them for the removal.

I would agree that it is very unusual to remove a cheek implant due to a patient not liking the results.  Sometimes it is necessary to remove a cheek implant due to infection or some other rare problem.  If the implant is placed well, it should not cause any issues with smiling or cause an alteration to other parts of the face.  I would inquire with the surgeon who might be performing your procedure and ask them what their policy is for removal of cheek implants if you don't like the result.  

Cheek implants are inserted under general anesthesia as an outpatient surgical procedure.  Removing cheek implants can be performed under local anesthesia, but it is rare to ever have to remove them. We do not charge patients in our practice for removal of implants the we have placed
