Can cheek implants help narrow and slim a fuller round face?

Question

I have always thought that I have chubby cheeks and recently have been looking into buccal fat removal. I hear that doctors don't really like to preform this as your face naturally slims out as you age. I am just wondering generally do cheek implants/injections help slim and narrow out faces?

In the right patient cheek implants may be able to make the face look slimmer. But that would depend on what your face looks like and your natural facial bone structure. Cheek implants can give certain faces more of a V-shape but the face has to be naturally thinner to do so.

These have soft tissue fillers to provide cheek augmentation
can definitely alter and change and even enhance the shape of your face.  A round face can achieve a more oval and
elegant look with use of soft tissue fillers. 
In the right select of patient even buccal fat pattern removal can be
used to enhance facial shape and judicious use of this technique and
individuals with very full buccal fat pads can be helpful.

Three-dimensional shaping is an important part of a youthful
attractive face and seeking out the expertise of a physician with a little soft
tissue sculpture experience in the face is important.

I have been injecting soft tissue fillers, micro fat grafting
and performing facial shaping for over 20 years and individualized consultation
and arriving at appropriate treatment plan is always critical.

Cheek Implants can shape the cheeks if the appropriate size and shaped implant is used following the correct facial aesthetic principles.  For women, this entails an augmentation primarily in the front (anterior) portion of the cheek.  This turns a round face into a heart-shaped one.  For men, a more narrow angular shaped implant is used.  Hope this helps.
