I have had a surgery away in turkey Istanbul I live in Scotland. After surgery I stayed in hotel for 5 days and returned back home to Scotland. Next day I was back to work and I am a chef assistant. My incisions on the right breast started opening up. So I will do photos from before and all after. Can you please tell me if my boob will be the same as the other one. As now all I see is a big hole in my breast even Though it’s healed but it’s scarred.
Answer: Breast incision opening and scars Hello, thank you for your question. Sorry that you had to experience that. It typically takes about 1 year for scar pigment to lighten and to mature. In regards to the area that opened up you will have a widened scar there but consider microneedle treatments to the area.

Answer: Breast The scar will slowly improve, but will remain wide unless revised. The dent may also improve, but probably not go away without a revision. It is always best to do surgery in the area you live so your surgeon can check you and help with any difficulties. I would find someone to see in your area.

Answer: Vbeam will defuse the redness. Revision should be done to correct the indent Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. If you have late plastic surgery scars, you may also require laser and RF therapy to help reduce the longterm effects of the scarring. Keloids, hypertrophic scars, widened scars, red scars, and hyperpigmented scars all require scar modulation with topical creams followed by lasers and RF therapy. Topical skincare should be directed to a specific need, whether for pigmentation or hypertrophy and our office can guide you through the process to obtain the correct Plato’s Scar cream or Melarase cream for hypertrophy and discoloration. In terms of lasers, we would employ the vbeam laser for redness, Venus Viva RF, PRP microneedling, chemical peels, and Morpheus 8, fractional erbium, or fractional co2. All of these have their individual benefits. Most of all, we recommend you visit a solid plastic surgeon who understands surgical scar revision, laser therapy, and RF therapy for scars. Answer: Scar and dent Hi Terrific784978I am sorry to hear about the issues you developed after surgery. When a wound dehiscence develops (opens up), it can heal as in your case with a ticker scar and some contour irregularities. Unfortunately, the scar and the irregularity will most likely not disappear completely. However, with time, those issues may soften slightly. Your right breast will never look exactly as your left breast. At this point, wait at least 1 year to consider a scar revision. Good luck.

Answer: BA results Dear Terrific784978, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
