I had issues with blurry vision due to eyebrow. Planned browpexy surgery which was also meant to include blepharoplasty however after the operation surgeon said blepharoplasty was not performed due to lack of skin. Also my eyebrow skin seems like it was rolled inwards towards eye and I haven't noticed any vision improvements since surgery. My vision is still blurred when eyebrows are in natural state so I have to raise to see clear. Advice what to do next. Thanks

Answer: Confusion. Your post is a little difficult to comprehend. You state your surgeon did not do a blepharoplasty yet your second picture clearly shows you had a blepharoplasty. I don’t see evidence of having had a brow lift. It is unclear what the ideology of the primary problem was. I suggest you follow up with your provider or schedule a few in person, second opinion, consultations with other plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, or oculoplastic surgeons in your community. For second opinion consultations, I recommend patients come prepared with them a complete set of proper before and after pictures, and a copy of your previous operative report. it sounds a little unusual for a surgeon to completely change the surgical plan during surgery but sometimes that may be indicated and a lot depends on what was discussed before your procedure. I don’t think you won’t get responses that properly addressed your concerns by posting on this website. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
