How to address upper eyelid hollowing from prostaglandin? (Photo)

I've developed significant hollowing in my upper eyelids after using prostagladin eyelash products. The hollowing also accentuates the asymmetry between my eyes. Would fat graft or filler be safer? Are there other procedures I should consider to fix the asymmetry?

Options to improve the upper lid hollowing includes fat grafting, filler, or repositioning existing fat. Often mild ptosis is also addressed during this procedure. These are advanced and dedicate procedures and should be done by an eyelid expert.

What you are experiencing is something called prostaglandin associated periorbitopathy and it can result in thinning and irritation of the eyelid skin as well as fat loss within the upper eyelid causing superior sulcus hollowing. First thing - immediately discontinue use of the prostaglandin lash product. Typically just discontinuation of the offending product should allow for improvement and some reversal of the fat loss. You may need to be patient over the next few months to allow this to improve on its own. If after this time period there is some residual hollowing , would consider an HA filler to that space. Please visit an experienced oculoplastic surgeon for best results.

I’m not sure the medication cost fat loss.
That would be a new one to me.
Restoring volume in this part of the face is inherently difficult and I would be very apprehensive to stick needles in that anatomic region.
