Nose tip is too high 1 month post rhinoplasty. Will it drop? (photos)

Question

I'm one month after my rhinoplasty. I didn't want an upturned nose but the surgeon has pulled it up too high. He thinks it will drop down but I haven't seen any change in 1 month. Is it likely to drop? It looks very piggy from the front.

You are still very early in the healing process and you will see continued improvement in the appearance as time progresses.  Swelling and healing can take a full year to resolve after this surgery so try to be patient as your body recovers.

Hi,The tip of the nose drops as the swelling subsides and things soften up. This happens for up to and sometimes beyond 3 months. Best,

The healing process you are in now, and it will be completed total one year time, you can comfort yourself.  First months swelling, edema and bruise are very normal.

Swelling and bruising are common during the first month of recovery. Please follow the recovery instructions provided by your board certified facial plastic surgeon.
