I'm one month after my rhinoplasty. I didn't want an upturned nose but the surgeon has pulled it up too high. He thinks it will drop down but I haven't seen any change in 1 month. Is it likely to drop? It looks very piggy from the front.

Thanks for your question. Having some changes in your skin after rhinoplasty is not too unusual. I typically recommend that our patients see an aesthetician for a hydra facial treatment. Good luck as you heal!
The limited photograph demonstrates a hanging columella, an overly projecting nose, and a dorsal hump. All this can be addressed with a closed rhinoplasty approach with all incisions placed on the inside of the nose. For many examples and more information, please see video...
It is difficult to tell whether that is a skin suture that should have been removed or if it is a deep suture that is trying to come out. Either way the best thing is to see a specialist and have the suture removal if they think it is appropriate. I wish you the best, Dr. Ardeshirpour
