Nose too close to mouth. Any solution for this? (Photo)

Great question!  From the photos, it looks like the tip of your nose is dropping down.  The best way to correct this is with a Rhinoplasty or nose job to rotate the tip upwards.  By doing this, it will create more space between the nose and the upper lip.  With an in person consultation this procedure can be discussed in more detail.Best of luck and hope this information helps!

Hello and thank you for your question.   You appear to have a drooping nasal tip.  Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a cephalic rotation of your tip to turn up your tip slightly and a dorsal hump reduction.  Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system.  You should be able to view numerous pictures of actual patients with noses similar to yours performed by your surgeon.  If you cannot find enough real before and after pictures, then consider continuing your search for a surgeon.

Hello,Your nose isn't too close, it just needs to be reshaped, and possibly shortened. A rhinoplasty would do a great job for this. Go visit a few ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeons who specialize in rhinoplasty. Best of luck!

Your nose is too long so it is almost hanging on your upper lip.  You also have a moderate side jump on the bridge.  These can be addressed with standard rhinoplasty techniques.  If you’re interested you should go on a few consults and look at a lot of before and after photos.

I would recommend starting with a consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon that specializes in rhinoplasty surgery to discuss if rhinoplasty can address your concerns. 
I would recommend writing down the following questions before scheduling your consultation:
1. Are you unhappy with the tip of your nose? 
2. Do you feel that your nose is too wide? 
3. Do you want to make your nostrils smaller in appearance? 
4. Are you looking to decrease the general size of your nose?

 The limited photograph demonstrates a hanging columella, an overly projecting nose, and a dorsal hump.  All this can be addressed with a closed rhinoplasty approach with all incisions placed on the inside of the nose.  For many examples and more information, please see video below

Based on your photo, I agree that your tip position would benefit from a somewhat higher rotation position.  Also it appears your columella (the middle column of your nose) is low and should ideally be showing less.  Finally, in the photo the edge of your nostril or nasal rim seems a bit elevated.  These are all issues that can be corrected through rhinoplasty.  Of course, you need to have a consultation with a plastic surgeon to examine and evaluate your nose in person to discuss and develop an operative plan specifically for you.   Best wishes and good luck.

From the picture provided it looks like the tip of your nose hangs a little bit lower than is ideal on a feminine face.  When the tip of the nose hangs down like this it can give the illusion of a short upper lip.  The rotation of the nose can be corrected with a rhinoplasty.  By rotating the tip of the nose further upward it would elongate the look of the upper lip and bring the profile into better balance.  Certainly if you are concerned about the fullness of your lips, volume augmentation with fillers is always an option as well.  I would recommend finding a surgeon in your area and discussing your concerns in further detail.  They should be able to help create a plan to reach your goals.  I hope this helps, good luck!!

It is difficult to evaluate your nose with this one picture but your columella (the strip between your nostrils) is hanging can be elevated. I recommend you see a rhinoplasty specialist.
