Im female, 33 single. I did labiaplasty 6 months back. But my sutures got opened. And left me with botched labia, i also see the surgeon trimmed too much and no labia is there, instead small pieces. Im too worried as in my culture its very important to be virgin before marriage. I need an honest answer will my labia be fix? If so, how? What are my options.
Answer: 6 months post labiaplasty - Can I have a revision done and what are my options? (photos) Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. It appears you will need a surgical revision to improve upon your current results, namely proportions as your clitoral hood and lateral prepuce tissues need to be reduced, while an in-person examination of your remaining labia would yield the best advice if any further treatment can be performed.

Answer: 6 months post labiaplasty needs revision Thank you for your questionThe procedure you had did not address the prepuce. There is not one inner labia there are actually two. A lower pair that inserts into the clitoris and an upper pair that forms the hood and can insert into the lower pair. The prepuce appears untreated ,this gives an irregular appearance in addition to the irregularity of the lower labia. The lower labia can be "smoothed out" and the prepuce can be reduced to give a "bridge of the nose" appearance to give a much better overall appearance. Virgins come in all different appearances. (It is the intact hymenal ring which matters in being a virgin, not the labial appearance, and the hymenal ring can also be repaired.)

Answer: Labia reconstruction As the inventor and innovator of the wedge technique in 1994, I reconstruct many women who have had labia reductions by other surgeons, both wedge and trimming techniques. The reconstruction technique depends on the deformity. The reconstruction is more difficult than a primary labiaplasty and should be done by a plastic surgeon with extensive experience in labia reconstruction. I published the first and most extensive paper on labia reconstruction in the prestigious journal "Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery" about eleven years ago. You may need various reconstructive techniques to give you a good appearance. Fortunately, you have adequate clitoral hood to reconstruct your labia minora with clitoral hood flaps, which I invented and published in that journal article. In this surgery, I take the remaining tissue of your clitoral hood and transfer it downward to create labia minora. I have done this surgery about 80 times with excellent results. The surgery takes about 3+ hours so it is not a simple office procedure. If any surgeon reduces more of your clitoral hood, you will be ineligible for this repair. You only get one good chance to reconstruct you, so be patient and ask a lot of questions. Gary J. Alter, M.D. Beverly Hills, CA - Manhattan, NYC

Answer: Too much reduced labia minora can be enlarged ? It is very difficult to re-enlarge the very reduced labia, but this does not mean that there is damage to your hymen. If you are not a virgin, the hymen can be repaired.

Answer: 6 months post labiaplasty - Can I have a revision done and what are my options? In labiaplasty surgeries, the hymen is not damaged. The hymen has nothing to do with labiaplasty surgeries. Your labia and tissues around the clitoris seem adequate for revision labiaplasty surgery.
