I am 5’2 151 lbs and had 370 cc implants placed subgladular. I wanted a very full, but still natural look. Did not want a lift and was ok that the nipple would be low. I feel like the implants are too small and did not fill out my breast well enough, especially on the left side. Should they have been larger (425-450cc?)? Should they have been placed dual plane? I’m so discouraged and PS just says these are the best they will get without revision.
Answer: Will using a larger implant improve the shape of my breast? Breast lift is the primary procedure for treating breast ptosis, or droop. A high profile implant can have a moderate improvement in breast droop and nipple position. The treatment for improving nipple position, but also redraping the lower half of the breast is a breast lift. Using a larger implant or dual plane approach is likely not going to address this area.

Answer: Bellesoma Method Your breasts are too low on the chest wall. Now you have breast tissue hanging on the bottom with the implants at the top. Adding larger implants will make your situation even worse. You will need a lift. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Warmhearted550608, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Challenging for DP Positioning the implants on a DP with a mild degree of ptosis like in your case is going to be challenging as the muscle tends to keep the implants higher and create a waterfall deformity. The size of the implants on the other hand very much depends on the aesthetic goals and the look you are trying to achieve. You would have in my opinion large enough skin envelope to accommodate slightly large implants.

Answer: They have been larger? Options? The one statement from your original chosen PS, "these are the best they will get without a revision" is correct. I recommend exchange to 500-600cc implants, increasing by 100cc's will not give you much improvement. Fees here in Miami $4,000. Best to virtual consult with...
