Oily nose after Rhinoplasty 6 months post op. Is this permanent?

It can take longer than 6 months for your nose to fully evolve and heal. This includes the issue you have noted in terms of your  nose being more oily. I tell patients it can take upwards of a full year after rhinoplasty before the nose completely heals.

Consider visiting a skin care specialist for a facial.  It is unusual for the skin to change the way your described following Rhinoplasty surgery.  If you have changed your diet, skin care products, or experiencing stress, these factors can cause skin changes.  Follow up with a Dermatologist for an evaluation.
