Oily nose after Rhinoplasty 6 months post op. Is this permanent?

Hi, it has been 6 months since my surgery. My nose gets super oily now, which it was often dry before the surgery. I know that your skin goes crazy for a while, but i feel like it should be back to normal by now.

This is one of those situations where it would be best to get a real examination. The short anwer is "ye" it can be fixed. The exact solution though needs an exam to identify the exact reason it looks like that. good luck.

If your boyfriend had an infection, I would expect increased swelling and redness of the nose. The discharge from the picture looks very normal. In the absence of other symptoms, I would not be too concerned.
