I would postpone the surgery to make sure everything is in line with your health. You are having purely elective cosmetic surgery - there is no need to risk your health if there is something that needs addressing.

Thank you for your question. my advice is to visit a Endocrinologist to check your T3, T4, TSH and make sure you are in optimal conditions before the procedure. I would suggest to be treated by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.

Please show your lab reports to the plastic surgeon you are consulting. Ideally before an elective surgery you should be physically healthy for a better recovery. Would suggest that you connect with a board-certified plastic surgeon for a thorough examination to get more information and recommendation.

If your other labs are normal, you are asymptomatic, your heart rate and other vitals are stable, you should be fine for your procedure. They have time to start treating you now and the adjustments to get the perfect levels may take upwards of one year (with minor tweaks along the way).
If your private MD clears you, you’ll be fine.
