asvehla. You have a very pretty smile and your lip asymmetry is minimal. While your asymmetry is probably due to different muscle activity, it is very hard to correct with Botox and more likely to over-correct and make the asymmetry worse and your smile unnaturally crooked. My advice; Do Nothing and continue to smile beautifully. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question. Fillers are a great option because they are non-invasive and temporary which allows the patient to evaluate their appearance with fillers. I suggest that you consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to determine your candidacy and the details of your procedure.Best wishes,
You would get a nice improvement with lip fillers. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a full and symmetrical lip. Nova threads can be used to improve lift and shape. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. You have a very subtle asymmetry in your upper lip that is most likely due to differing strengths of muscle activity between your right and left side. Botox would likely overcorrect the problem causing greater asymmetry, especially when smiling. A small amount of dermal filler to the upper right lip should help lower its border while placement to the upper portion of your upper left would further help improve your symmetry. Hope this helps.
Hello,Botox would help to improve gummy smile. it only needs 3-4 units above the lips. It should not be more because it would disturb your speech articulation and upper lip movements.I would combine with lip filler injection to improve lips appearance and treat any asymmetry. another photo while not smiling would be helpful.an office consultation would be the best next step to get specific recommendation on your lip asymmetry and gummy smile. All the BestRay Bayati, MDSacramento Area, California
