Is dissolving lip filler free? Or discounted?

Question

I am interested in dissolving a little part of my lip filler that is causing issues, would I be charged for this? Even though it's my doctors fault... she did not inject it good. Also, if I dissolve that part, causing my lip to loose all volume there and I wanted to fix it the lack of volume more filler, will I be charged to add more filler? Even though my purchase of 1 syringe just went to waste on her error? Or at least given a discount..?

Thank you for sharing your question.  Each office's policy will be different on the cost of any hyaluronidase treatment, with most offering the treatment for free.  Additional filler would likely be an additional expense.  Talk to your injectors office to ask their policy.  Hope this helps.

There can be a variety of reasons for this.  Generally this is unnecessary because the hyaluronic acid filler can be modified with enzyme so rather than removing all of the product, it can be shaped.  Of course for some, it all has to go.  Reasons for this vary.  The most common situation is that the injector who placed product really did not understand what they were supposed to do.  Generally there will be a charge for removing the product with the enzyme.  Situations vary so I recommend discussing this with your injector.  Keep in mind that some injectors have absolutely no experience with the enzyme.
