I have been to 4 different doctored to fill my lips I told each of them I want very full lips but I have never been able to get the desired look. The last doctor said I have an enzyme in my body that is breaking down the filler and no matter how much they put in I will never get the desired lips that I so desperately want. Please can you clarify this for me.

Answer: Lip Fillers Thank you for your question. Ask your injectors what type of filler they are using. Also ask if you need more than one syringe to achieve the amount of fullness you are looking for. Most lip fillers can last anywhere from 5-9 months(some people do naturally break them down faster than others). If you have very thin lips naturally, sometimes one syringe can look very subtle if you want very full lips you may consider a few syringes. Although if too much product is injected it can look artificial. Depends on the look you are going for.Good Luck.

Answer: Short lasting lip fillers As the London Lip Queen I do have extensive experience in lip volumisation and have had a small number of patients who have experienced really short benefit from fillers - in some cases less than a month. This may be the same with you, but it is most unusual as most hylauronic fillers will last 6-9 months. You don't say which fillers you have actually had injected, but you may wish to try a variety of different fillers to see if any of them have a better long-term effect for you.
