I had a thigh lift and part of the stitches opened. The doc just said put neosporin on it. How long will it take to heal?

Is going to take about two weeks to heal.And maybe you will be needing an scar revision after 6 month of the surgery.You need to wear cotton underwear and try to keep the zone as dry as possible.

Hello and thank you for your question . These are extremely frequent following a thigh lift.  Although most are usually small they still may take up to 2 to 3 months to close. As your ps told you. Keep the area clean and apply a very small amount of antibiotic ointment on a daily basis. Make,sure you follow up with your ps.Peter Fisher M.D.
