It can be performed under local anesthesia.I would be curious as to why you would want to be awake for it.If its concern about anesthesia, we only use board certified anesthesiologists that have hospital affiliations in a medicare accredited facility.best of luck!dr schwartz

I prefer Epidural Anesthesia for performing Thigh Lift, is the best for the circulation of the flaps due to  the vasodilation it produces.And is also ideal for the manage of the pain after the surgery.

Thigh lift can be done under local anesthesia. It all depends on the expertise of the surgeon and your tolerance to injections of the local anesthetics, tumescent technique of local anethesia
