I had my breast augmentation done July/2020 and I have felt like I bottomed out within a year.. I previously worked at that clinic (where I got it done) and felt like I was brushed off. I do want to redo them.. however, I am not too sure if I should wait until I have kids to do capsulorrhaphy, with remove and replace. Please let me know if you think I have bottomed out.

Answer: Not necessary Waiting until after you have children is not necessary. Your implants are bottoming out and you may benefit from smaller implants, additional pocket dissection on the upper portion as well as inferior plication. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Bottoming out implants Aloha and thanks for the photos. It appears the septal structures at the inframammary border of the 5th ribs were released, and this is causing the descent of implant position. You don’t need to wait until after having kids. As long as the tissues are fully stable, usually 6 months or more from the last procedure, revision with capsule repair can be done. Otherwise, a well structured underwire bra is needed to support the implants higher against gravity.
